Donation Terms
Read this first. Your donation is a personal gift to Morgan Hernandez and his family. It is not a charitable contribution and not tax‑deductible. No goods or services are given in exchange. If you need a tax‑deductible receipt, this is not the right place to give.
What your money funds
Donations pay the documented costs of Morgan's 2027 season with Onyx Independent Open: member tuition, fuel and vehicle costs for the 12,140 miles of round trips between Charleston and rehearsals in Dayton, hotel nights on rehearsal weekends and at regionals, and travel to WGI World Championships. The full itemised budget is published on the donation page.
The published figures are estimates, not quotes. Fuel prices move daily and hotel rates vary by date and property, so actual costs will differ from the published total in both directions.
If we raise more than the goal
Surplus funds stay with Morgan and go toward guard-related costs: equipment, replacement gear, uniform pieces, meals and tolls not covered in the published estimate, and any additional competition travel that comes up during the season.
If the season doesn't happen
If Morgan is unable to march the 2027 season, whether through injury, the ensemble folding, or anything else outside anyone's control, money already spent on non-refundable tuition and deposits cannot be recovered. Whatever remains unspent will be refunded on request to donors who ask within 60 days of the announcement, and any balance after that will go toward his continued participation in color guard.
Refunds
Because these are gifts rather than purchases, donations are generally final. That said, we are not in the business of keeping money you did not mean to send. If you gave by mistake, gave the wrong amount, or simply change your mind, email info@morganspins.com within 30 days and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days.
Payments and your card statement
All payments are processed by Stripe on its own hosted checkout pages. This site never receives, sees or stores your card details. By donating you also agree to Stripe's terms.
Donations are collected by Cosmic Mountain Strategies on Morgan's behalf, so your card statement will read WWW.BRADENFRAME.COM. Your Stripe receipt will say "Morgan Spins, Onyx 2027 Season."
Please email us before filing a chargeback. A dispute costs the fundraiser the donation plus a bank fee, and a refund achieves the same thing for you without taking extra money out of Morgan's season.
Who you are giving to
You are giving to a private individual and his family, not to a registered charity and not to Onyx Colorguard. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or administered by Onyx Colorguard, WGI, or George Washington High School. Onyx's name and marks appear here only to identify the ensemble Morgan has been contracted to perform with.
Accuracy and honest limits
We have tried to state the costs, the dates and the tax position accurately, and to correct anything we get wrong. But no promise is made that the season will produce any particular result, placement or outcome. You are funding a teenager's shot at a competitive floor, not buying a guaranteed one.

Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Changes are not applied retroactively to donations already made.
